Water Flossers That Use Mouthwash Can Greatly Improve Your Oral Health

Water Flosser Total Health Dental OR 97224-2479One of the most difficult parts of the oral hygiene routine for most people is flossing. All that string, the technique, and getting your hands into the back of your mouth can be difficult Why can't it be easier to get your teeth clean?

Well, thanks to some new tools in the oral hygiene department, it can be easier. One of the tools you may want to look into is a water flosser.

What is a Water Flosser and How Does It Help?

A water flosser is a machine that uses a jet of water instead of string to floss your teeth. You hold the wand in your hand and move it to each gap between your teeth.

You then use the water jet on that gap, and the water pushes the debris out, cleaning the space between those two teeth. You do this for each gap in your mouth until you have the entire mouth clean.

One benefit that comes with using water flossers is that they have a reservoir that you hold the water in. There is basically a straw that pulls the water from that reservoir to your teeth. If you want to go with something other than water, you can use mouthwash instead.

This gives you the ability to put something that is antimicrobial right between each of the teeth in your mouth. This can boost your overall oral health greatly when used daily.

Want to find out what condition your teeth are currently in? Then contact us and set up your next appointment. If you have any part of your mouth that needs extra attention, we can point it out. Then, you can start using your water flosser, and we can compare the health of your mouth at your next appointment so you can see the benefits for yourself.
